This is a really cool game with lots of potential! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and whole vibe the game gave off, as well as the creative movement mechanic and art.

Despite that, the game does have a few flaws.

There's a lot of random pits in the game; some you are meant to fall down, and others may set you set you  back to the beginning. It is not indicated to the player which pits are dangerous, and which are not.

It's especially frustrating when you're able to lose so much progress. One tiny mistake may set you back to an ultra-difficult area that may take whoever-knows how long to complete again.

While I initially did say I enjoyed the creative rocket-jumping style movement mechanic the game focuses around, it can be somewhat finicky and janky at times with its unpredictable physics and lack of indication of where the player may end up. Though I still very much enjoyed the mechanic, and can see a lot of potential in it. Like there could be some sort of intense chase-scene where the player has to propel themselves upwards rapidly while a monster chases them from below and intense music plays.

The lack of music and sound in some areas of the game is an issue as well. I can easily see this game having an electronic ambient soundtrack, with the occasional intense, upbeat indietronica song.

Overall, solid game with a lot of potential.

Thank you so much for playing my game and taking the time to write this comment! :)
I wholeheartedly agree with all the points you made, and am definitely planning on adding quite a lot of features in upcoming versions. These include indications of direction, overall better world design, as well as music, story, etc etc..

Cheers, ml
